Ninth Day of DzulHijjah 10 Hijrah

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) Last Sermon

(This sermon was delivered on the Ninth Day of Dzulhijjah 10 Hijrah in the Uranah Valley of Mount Arafat.)

After praising, and thanking Allah he (pbuh) said:

"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I don't know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. ALLAH has forbidden you to take usury (Interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity.

Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under ALLAH's trust and with HIS permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.

O People, listen to me in earnest : worship ALLAH, say your five daily prayers (Salaah), fast during the month of Ramadaan, and give your wealth in Zakaat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. You know that every Muslim is the brother of every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.

Remember, one day you will appear before ALLAH and answer your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Qur'an and my example, the Sunnah and if you follow these you will never go astray.

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly.

Be my witness oh ALLAH that I have conveyed Your message to Your people."

أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ

(Alam tara kayfa faAAala rabbuka biashabi alfeel(i))

Have you-SAAW not seen how your-SAAW Rabb-SWT dealt with the fellows of the elephant?

(105:1)

أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ

(Alam yajAAal kaydahum fee tadleel(in))

Did He-SWT not set their stratagem at nothing?

(105:2)

وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ

(Waarsala AAalayhim tayran ababeel(a))

And He-SWT sent against them birds in flocks.

(105:3)

تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ

(Tarmeehim bihijaratin min sijjeel(in))

They hurled upon them clay stones.

(105:4)

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍ

(FajaAAalahum kaAAasfin makool(in))

Then He-SWT rendered them as stubble devoured.

(105:5)

In The Name of Allah-SWT the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

SECRETS OF REVELATION:

This event took place in the year of the Holy Prophet-SAAW’s birth, when Zunuwas, the King of Yemen, had burnt the Muslims alive in the trenches. The Christian ruler of Syria, Caesar, a Muslim of that time, deputed two of his chieftains Arbat and Abraha to Yemen to take Zunuwas to task, who was defeated. He fled and perished in the sea. Now Abraha killed Arbat and himself became the ruler. 

People from Yemen used to visit the Holy Ka'abah. Abraha had a grand church built and demanded that people circumambulate it rather than going to Makkah. Yet people preferred to visit the Holy K'aabah. Abraha was infuriated and proceeded with a large army to raze Ka'abah to the ground.

The Arab tribes gathered to put up a joint resistance, but were defeated. Abraha continued to march on, crushing any resistance enroute and finally arrived in the precincts of Makkah. The Holy Prophet-SAAW’s grandfather Hadhrat 'Abdul Mutlib advised the Makkans to retire to the hills leaving the protection of the Ka'abah to its Rabb-SWT as the invading army was far too strong to be encountered.

This army had elephants with it, not hitherto known in Arabia. The powerful personal elephant of Abraha named Mahmood was taken to the front to lead the assault but it would not move an inch. After all efforts failed the chieftains of Abraha advised him to retreat, which he ignored. 

Suddenly flocks of tiny birds appeared from the sea-coast, carrying pebbles in their beaks and claws. The birds pelted those on the army of Abraha. When a pebble would hit any target, be it a soldier, a horse or an elephant, it would penetrate through and destroy it. 

Abraha's army started retreating in panic and utter confusion. He himself reached Yemen critically injured. The wounds caused by the pebbles had such a toxic effect that his body putrefied, all its joints disintegrated until it wasted away in fluid. The opposition to enforce Islam today amounts to razing down the Ka'abah. 

This event carries admonition for the culprits. O' Prophet-SAAW! Are you-SAAW aware of the treatment We-SWT extended to the army with elephants, extremely proud of their might and dared destroy the Ka'abah to establish their own supremacy? The flocks of tiny birds were sent unto them carrying pebbles in their claws made of clay, like atomic missiles of modern age. These birds reduced Abraha's Army to a state of the fodder usually served to cattle.

"Dan Kami wajibkan manusia berbuat baik kepada kedua ibu bapanya; ibunya telah mengandungnya dengan menanggung susah payah dan telah melahirkannya dengan menanggung susah payah. Sedang tempoh mengandungnya berserta dengan tempoh menceraikan susunya ialah dalam masa tiga puluh bulan. Setelah dia besar sampai ke peringkat dewasa yang sempurna kekuatannya dan sampai ke peringkat umur empat puluh tahun, berdoalah dia dengan berkata:

Wahai Tuhanku, ilhamkanlah daku supaya tetap bersyukur akan nikmatmu yang engkau kurniakan kepadaku dan kepada ibu bapaku dan supaya aku tetap mengerjakan amal soleh yang Engkau redai; dan jadikanlah sifat-sifat kebaikan meresap masuk ke dalam jiwa zuriat keturunanku. Sesungguhnya aku bertaubat kepadamu dan sesungguhnya aku dari orang-orang Islam (yang tunduk patuh kepadamu)." / (46:15)

"And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and kind to his parents. His mother bears him with hardship And she brings him forth with hardship, and the bearing of him, and the weaning of him is thirty months, till when he attains full strength and reaches forty years, he says:

"My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such as please You, and make my off-spring good. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims (submitting to Your Will)." (46:15)

The sweetness of trusting in Allaah

If the servant of Allaah knows that he cannot escape nor change the plan of Allaah, he will commit all his affairs to Allaah and throw himself between His hands as a humble servant throws himself between the hands of a mighty king who has authority over him- and indeed the servant has no power of his own.

When the servant knows all that, he will be relieved from all distress and sadness and will pass the burden to Allaah who does not get tired. Allaah will carry them, and show him kindness and mercy without any tiredness.

The servant has paid attention to Allaah alone and Allaah paid attention to the needs and benefits of his life and emptied his heart from them, and, as a result, his life will be good and his heart will be happy.

Allah's Messengers and Prophets

Raihan - 25 Rasul

Allah states in the Holy Qur`ān,


"And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad SAW) but We revealed to him (saying): Lâ ilâha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allâh)], so worship Me (Alone and none else)." [Al-Anbiyaa'(21):25]


It is our belief that Allah has sent a prophet to every nation and not necessarily to every generation. Allah has mentioned in the Qur'an,


"And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allâh (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Tâghût[] (all false deities, etc. i.e. do not worship Tâghût besides Allâh)." Then of them were some whom Allâh guided and of them were some upon whom the straying was justified. So travel through the land and see what was the end of those who denied (the truth). "[An-Nahl(16):36]

"Verily! We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. And there never was a nation but a warner had passed among them." [Al-Fatir(35):24]

As for the exact number of prophets the Prophet (ṣaw) was asked by Abu Dharr (ra), "O Messenger of Allah! What was the total number of prophets?" the Prophet (ṣaw) replied, "124,000 and from amongst them 315 messengers".

The difference between a prophet and a messenger, is that a messenger is a prophet to whom Allah reveals a new book or law, and orders them to propagate their new law. Whereas a prophet would merely upholds the law and scriptures of previous messengers.

Therefore all messengers are prophets but not all prophets are messengers.


About other prophets and messengers Allah said, "We have told you the story of some Messengers and of others We have not …" (al-Nisa' 4:164)

Allah alone has knowlege of true number and names of messengers and prophets chosen by Him. Allah's guidance to mankind began with Adam (peace be upon him) and was completed with Muhammad (peace be upon him).

In the Quran, Allah SWT has mentioned the twenty-five most prominent messengers and prophets by name:

Hud
Salih (Salih)
Ibraheem (Abraham)
Isma'el (Ishmael)
Is'haque (Isaac)
Lut (Lot)
Ya'quob (Jacob)

Dhul-kifl (Ezekiel)

peace be upon them all.

Why Does Allah SWT Test Us.

A Timely Reminder.

Allah tests His believing servants with various types of crises and disasters in order to:


1) Reveal the Patient from the Impatient:


“And certainly, We shall test you with a bit of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits. But give glad tidings to the patient ones who, when afflicted with a calamity, say: “Truly! To Allah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return.” They are those upon whom are the blessings, descend from their Lord, and they receive His Mercy, and it is they who are guided.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:155-157)


“And among mankind is he who worships Allah as if he were upon the very edge (i.e. in doubt); if good befalls him, he is content with it;. But if a trial befalls him, he turns back on his face. He loses both this World and the Hereafter. That is the evident loss.”(Surah al-Haj 22:11)

“So, it is a must for the souls to be nurtured by way of tests, and to be severely tested during the course of the battle between truth and falsehood with fear and hardship, and with hunger and decrease in wealth and life and fruits.

This testing is a necessity so that the believer can give his share of what his belief requires; so that it becomes dear to him in accordance with that he gives for its sake of sacrifice and burden; so that it becomes dear to him in accordance with what he is willing to give for its sake!

The bearers of worthless beliefs that do not require any type of sacrifice will not hesitate to abandon their beliefs at the first sign of hardship. So, the burden here is the personal price that one pays so that this belief becomes dear and valuable in the hearts of its bearers before it becomes dear to the hearts of anyone else.

Whenever they experience pain for its sake, and every single time they are forced to give something up for its sake, it becomes even dearer and more valuable to them, and they become even more honored with it.

With this, nobody else will realize its value until they see how its bearers are tested because of it and how patient they are upon such tests.”



2) Remove Our Sins and Reward the Righteous:


“And, when he was old enough to walk with him, he said: “O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you, so what do you think?” He said: “O my father! Do that which you are commanded, if Allah Wills, you will find me to be of the patient.” Then, when they had both submitted, and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead, and We called out to him: “O Ibrahim! You have fulfilled the dream!” Verily! Such do We reward the good-doers.” (Surah as-Saffat :102-7)


Sa’ad bin Abi Waqqas reported that he asked the Messenger of Allah (SAW): “Which of the people are tested most severely?”

Rasulullah (SAW) replied: “The Prophets, then the righteous, then those who are most like them, then those who are most like them from the people. A man is tested according to his religious commitment. So, if his religious practice is sound, then his testing is increased, and if his religious practice is weak, then his testing is reduced. A servant continues to be tested until he walks the Earth without a single sin on him.”

3) Purify the Ranks and Distinguish the Righteous from the Wicked:


“Allah will not leave the believers in the state in which you are now until He distinguishes the wicked from the good.” (Surah Al ‘Imrân 3:179)


“And when the believers saw the Confederates, they said: “This is what Allah and His Messenger had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger had spoken the truth,” and it only added to their faith and submissiveness.” (Surah Ahzaab 33:22)


“Allah might make easy the affairs of the people of evil so that they may increase in sin and corruption, and so that they might increase in their buildup of sins and crimes. Then, he may deal with them in this World or the Hereafter – depending on His Wisdom and Decision – on account of this sinister buildup of deeds!

On the other hand, He may also prevent them from ease so that they would increase in evil and sin and crimes and suffocation, eventually losing hope in the Mercy of Allah, resulting in an increase in their buildup of evil and misguidance.

Likewise, Allah can make easy the affairs of the people of good so that they may become established in their righteous actions and carry out as much of them as they can while increasing in their sustenance, so that they may thank Him for these blessings with their hearts, tongues, and pleasant actions. With all of this, they increase in a buildup of good deeds that they rightfully deserve with Allah because of their righteousness and because of the good that Allah Knows is in their hearts.

On the other hand, He may also prevent them from ease in order to observe their patience upon this state, as well as their confidence and hope in their Lord, their relaxation at the realization of His Power, their being pleased with Him as their only Lord – and He is better than all others – resulting in an increase in their buildup of good.”



4) Emphasize the Hardships of This World in Comparison to the Hereafter:


“Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the kingdom, and He is Able to do all things. The One Who has created death and life in order to test you and see which of you is best in deed, and He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.” (Surah al-Mulk 67:1-2)



5) Expose the Reality of the Human Being:


“Verily, We have created man from drops of mixed semen in order to test him, so We made him hearer, seer. Verily, We showed him the way, so he is either grateful or ungrateful.” (Surah al-Insan 76: 2-3)


“Verily, We have made that which is on earth as an adornment for it so that We may test them as to which of them are best in deeds.” (Surah al-Kahf 18:7)


“And it is He Who has made you generations after generations, replacing each other on the earth. And He has raised you in ranks – some above others – that He may test you in that which He has bestowed on you. Surely, your Lord is Swift in retribution, and certainly He is Oft*-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Surah al-An’am 6:165)


“A human being is tested so that he may come to know the reality of himself and others. Life is consists of constant testing; testing with what is bad, or testing with what is good.

However, what is best for the believer may be found in what he hates, and what is bad for him may be found in what he likes. The true believer is the one who loves that which Allah has chosen for him.

So, if He tests him with something that he loves, he thanks Him, and if He tests him with that which he hates, he is patient and thanks Him in this case, as well. And Allah – the Glorified – gives the believer in accordance with what will lead to his happiness in either this World or the next.

So, if it is better for him to have something, Allah gives it to him. If it is better for him not to have something, Allah prevents him from having that thing, just as one who is sick is prevented from too much food or water.

Therefore, it is upon a person to completely submit to Allah – the Glorified – in regards to what He has chosen for him, and to be pleased with what Allah has given him, and to understand that if Allah prevents him from something, then it is because Allah wishes to save him from being tested with that thing.”

Ikhlaas and Riyaa` - Part 3 (Riyaa')

These are some narrations brought by the Shaykh `Abdul-Malik ar-Ramadaanee (hafidhahullaah) in his excellent book "Sittu Durar":

In his book, al-Qawlus-Sadeed fee Maqaasid-it- Tawheed Sharhu Kitaab-ut-Tawheed (القول السديد في مقاصيد التوحيد شرح كتاب التوحيد) (which is an Explanation of the Book of the Imaam Muhammad ibn AbdulWahhaab rahimahullaah, Kitaab-ut-Tawheed ),


..the 'Allaamah, 'Abd-ur-Rahmaan ibn Naasir as-Sa'dee rahimahullaah mentions in the commentary of the Chapter 36: "What is said about Riyaa' (showing off)" and Chapter 37: "Intending deeds in the world for the sake of humans is a type of Shirk":



Know that sincerity for Allaah is the foundation of the Religion and the essence of Tawheed and worship. It is when the worshipper intends all of his deeds for the Face of Allaah, for His rewards, and His favours.


So he maintains the six foundations of faith, the five signs of Islaam, and the fulfillment of faith - ihsan - as well as the rights of Allaah and the rights of His worshippers.


In this way his intention is perfected for the Face of Allaah and for the abode of the Hereafter. He does not intend by this to be seen, nor to be heard of, nor does he do it for position, or for worldly matters. By this he will have completed his faith and tawheeed.



Among the worst behaviours that diminish sincerity is to perform deeds just to be seen by people, for their praise, or to honour them, or doing deeds for the sake of worldly matters. This degrades sincerity and tawheed.

Ikhlaas and Riyaa` - Part 1 (Ikhlaas)

These are some narrations brought by the Shaykh `Abdul-Malik ar-Ramadaanee (hafidhahullaah) in his excellent book "Sittu Durar":


It has been stated in definition of Ikhlaas,


"Ikhlaas is when the servants internal and external actions are the same (i.e. are in agreement with each other).


And Riyaa is when the external actions are better than the internal actions (of the heart).


And truthfulness in one's sincerity is when the internal is better (developed) than the external.


(Refer to Madaarij us-Saalikeen for this definition 2/91).



Bilaal bin Sa'd (rahimahullaah) said,


"Do not be a wali (friend) of Allaah outwardly, yet an enemy to him internally"


(Ahmad in az-Zuhd, Abu Nu'aym in al-Hilyah).


It has been stated,


"Ikhlaas is that you do not request anyone to witness your action except Allaah, and that you do not seek anyone to reward you (for it) except Him".


Salamah bin Dinar said,


"Hide your good deeds (from the people) just like you hide your evil deeds".

And in a narration in al-Bayhaqee,


"Hide your good deed like you hide your evil deed, and do not be amazed with your own action, for you do not know whether you are happy or wretched (in the Hereafter)"

From Darkness to Light..

As loneliness savours on my soul
I peer into the mirror to see what it holds
I blink back at myself, questioning who I am
She is unrecognisable, who is it there that stands?

Her eyes are empty, filled with darkness
They contain no emotion, but long happiness.
Her shoulders are exhausted, her neck worn to the core
Her arms are depressed, her posture lifeless.

My identity has lost it way and cannot find the route back
Leaving my soul, body and mind black.
I am a never ending well, drifting in the unknown
I am as dry as a desert at night, dusty, cold and alone.

I thought I was happy all this time
But I was obviously blind.
I am now a lost sheep in the dark
Who is constantly searching for the light.

As I passed by the Masjid, something was calling to me,
It was a place of worship, my soul felt at ease.
I watched the believers pray and I knew I belong,
How close my safe haven was; I'd been searching for so long.

Life isn't about enjoyment, how foolish that would be,
It is about worshipping Allaah, praising Him consistently.
Thanking Him for the life we have, we are truly blessed,
Life without Allaah's guidance can leave us in a mess.

Woe to those who transgress Allaah's limits
They have been set for us to stay within it.
Woe to those who choose to disbelieve,
In this world they think they will always live.

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, "On the Day of Resurrection Allah will hold the whole
earth and fold the heaven with His right hand and say, 'I am the King:
where are the kings of the earth?" ' - Sahih Bukhari, number 479

Supplication: Why Prayers are not answered?

One day a Sufi saint Ibrahim Adham was passing through the bazaar in the city of Basra when he was surrounded by people who said to him: "O Ibrahim! Allah (SWT) has stated in the Noble Qur'an that: "Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer)"; we call upon Allah (SWT) but our prayer is not answered.

Ibrahim Adham said: "The reason is because your hearts have died due to ten things so that your supplications have no sincerity as your hearts are not pure and free of contamination."

They asked: "What are those ten issues?"


Ibrahim Adham replied:


01: First and foremost you have accepted Allah (SWT) but have not repaid His claim.


02: You have recited the Noble Qur'an but have not practiced it.


03: You profess your love of the Holy Prophet of Islam (saw), but are opposed to his Household (as).


04: You claim to have enmity with Shaitan (Satan) but in practice you are in agreement with him.


05: You say that you are fond of heaven but in order to enter heaven you have not done anything.


06: You said that you were afraid of the Hell Fire, but have thrown your bodies into it.


07: You were busy slandering and criticizing people but were ignorant of your own shortcomings and faults.


08: You said that you didn't like the world but are greedily following it.


09: You confess to the reality of death but don't prepare yourself for it.


10: You have buried the dead but haven't taken a lesson or guidance from it.


These are the 10 practices (Ten Reasons) which cause prayers to remain unanswered.


"Prayer is not a spare wheel that you pull out when YOU ARE IN TROUBLE,

It is a steering wheel that keeps you on the right path throughout your life."

Allahumma salli 'ala,
Sayyidina,
Muhammadin an-Nabiyyi al-ummiyyi,
Wa 'ala alihi wa sahbihi wa sallim.
(O Allah, send your peace and blessings

and upon his family and companions.)


O Allah,
My sins are like
The highest mountain;

My good deeds
Are very few
They are like small pebbles.

I turn to You
My heart full of shame,
My eyes full of tears.

Bestow Your
Forgiveness and Mercy
Upon me.

Ya Allah,
Send your peace and blessings
On the Final Prophet,
And his family,
And companions,
And those who follow him.

Eight Things to Learn

One time a scholar asked one of his students, "You have spent a long time with me, what have you learned?"

He said I learned eight things:


First,

I looked to the creation. Everyone has a loved one. When he goes to the grave, he leaves his loved one. Therefore, I made my loved one my good deeds; that way, they will be with me in the grave.


Second,

I looked to the verse, "But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust," therefore, I struggled against my desires so I could stay obeying Allah.


Third,

I saw that if anyone has something with him that is worth something, he will protect it. Then I thought about the verse,"That which you have is wasted away; and that which is with Allah remains," therefore, everything worth something with me I devoted to Him so it would be with Him for me.


Fourth,

I saw the people seeking wealth, honor and positions and it was not worth anything to me. Then I thought about Allah's words, "Lo, the noblest of you in the sight of Allah is the most aware of Allah, so I did my best to become aware of Allah in order to gain nobility in his sight.


Fifth,

I saw the people being jealous towards each other and I looked at the verse, "We have apportioned among them their livelihood in the life of the world", so I left jealousy.


Sixth,

I saw the people having enmity and I thought about the verse, "Lo, the devil is an enemy for you, so take him as an enemy", so I left enmity and I took the Satan as my only enemy.


Seventh,

I saw them debasing themselves in search of sustenance and I thought about the verse, "And there is not a beast in the earth but the sustenance thereof depends on Allah", so I kept myself busy with my responsibilities toward Him and I left my property with Him.


Eighth,

I found them relying on their business, buildings and health and I thought about the verse, "And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, He will suffice him", therefore, I put my trust only on Allah.

All praises are for you Allah,
...how I hope that you are there.

For sinful though I know I am,
...your displeasure I can not bear.

Never, till this moment,
...did I realize how much I've strayed.

Never, till now, was I more conscious
of all those times when
I should have prayed.

For sins are like heavy baggage,
that one carries through Life, the airport.

Why didn't I realize sooner,
that Earth is but a place of sport?

Each footstep that I used to take,
I took with you ever near my side.

The Quran was my faithful companion,
Rasulullah (s.a.w) my beloved guide.

How I yearn for those bygone days (ya) Allah,
for I know that the day comes near.

When we'll each receive our just rewards,
and Truth will stand sparkling clear.

Life is like a spider's web (ya) Allah.
We get caught in its tricky snare

So thoroughly are we disillusioned,
time for salat we can not spare.

I sit here and I wonder, Ya Allah!
Why did I fall so low ?

What happened to my faith (ya) Allah?
Where did my Iman go?

In this earthly life of ours,
so often does sin seem right.

Falsehood seems to be the truth,
as if days are confused with night.

Man is an imperfect creature.
And thus, man shall always wrong.

For the road to Jann'ah is rocky,
and the journey seems awfully long.

Ya Allah ! Our creator,
we are all just pieces of clay.

Please help us with our steps in life,
and let us not lose our way.

All praises are for you Allah,
I know that you are near.

I know that you have read my heart,
and my words I know you hear.
